During these times of uncertainty, it can be difficult to get motivated in your own home. For some of us, all we want to do is sit on the couch with a pack of Cheetos and watch Tiger King. While that’s appealing, studies prove that eating healthy and getting active improves our mental health. Instead of getting chips and dip in your next instacart order, sub for veggies and hummus. Adding healthier alternatives gradually can help you curb those sweet cravings and make you want healthier alternatives more. Now it’s onto the real challenge: getting active. We know it’s hard to want to get active since you can’t go to your local gym in Naperville. The good news is, there are lots of at-home workout alternatives available. Below you’ll find a list of our top 4 at-home workouts.

Full-Body Cardio Workout
If you are an experienced exerciser, this workout will help you shake off that quarantine slump. Get going and get cranking at this super intense cardio workout. You’ll definitely work up a sweat while working out. Turn up some tunes in the background by looking up your favorite workout playlist in Spotify. Remember to drink water especially during this workout to keep you fueled and hydrated.

Beginner at Home Workout
For anyone who’s using the time at home to start getting into a workout routine, this is a great one to use. With no equipment required, you can do this workout in your living room. These workouts are only 15 minutes or less so you can easily work it into your daily routine.
